We recently got our BFP - for baby #1 we got pg first IVF cycle, and again first cycle for baby #2

Extremely lucky! However as our issue was a male factor, ICSI was perfect to 'fix' the problem so to speak

We thought we'd used all our luck the first time so were expecting a few cycles might be needed

Hope you get your BFP soon

Just wanted to wish you good luck, my history is in my sig, but I have blood clotting issues only treated just before ET 6. Since I have started TTC again I have had 3 ETs, 2 pregnancies from these and one natural mc. Definitely quicker but no easier this time. Hope you next is positive x

    Hi positive!
Also subbing here as we are in the same boat! DD1 was transfer #3 (born Aug 2010). We are looking at a FET in May this year (got 6 embies frozen) and I am just about to start a month on the pill (loooong story but I don't get a natural cycle) in order to get AF a couple of times before the transfer.
I would love to know how fast it's happened for other people!! Good luck with your next transfer

Good luck everyone and keep the blind luck stories coming We have no snow babies, our miracle who we were told was "bad quality embryo" was the only one that made it of 8, we really don't think we'll get lucky again soon -DD was ICSI #2- so we're buying a 3-pack at our clinic to avoid jinxing ourselves. I'm new to the forum, is there any thread for all of us trying IVF for bubs #2/3?

IVF #1 after upteen clomid and IUI's gave us our little girl. IVF #2 took 6 single transfers ( y FS wouldn't do single transfers which I am now grateful for, but at the time, I was getting very frustrated!). Nothing wrong with embryos. two were day three and the others were great blasts - so it was just plain bad luck for us it took so many (no MF issues, unexplained infertility was our issue). I am now pregnant with bubs #3 - first ever natural pregnancy.

Two friends who also got pregnant on their first IVF cycle both got pregnant after two attempts for their second bubs, both also had unexplained infertility.

    Good Luck!

We got very lucky on our first IVF cycle and then our first cycle (FET) after DD2 was born. We had to thaw all our frosties as we lost 2 and we wanted 2 back. So no more frosties but FX this one sticks.

Hi Ladies glad I found this thread my husband and I were discussing this today. We had DS in 2009 after 2 ICSI attempts but only 1 transfer and are looking to try again in March. Miscarriages arent common in my family but we both have male and female infertility and have 4 beautiful blastocysts frozen. I told my husband we might not be so lucky this time as he wants to wait longer but i have ankolosing spondylitis that gets worse every year and I had trouble carrying my boy full term and worry if we wait longer my back wont hold out. Am I being neurotic?

our 2 yr old son was from the second fully stim icsi/ivf cycle (both dh and i have issues)... ds was the fresh transfer... We had 3 eggs to use... ds was the first one, the fresh one! lol.
DD was the second one, frozen, transferred when DS was 10 months old on the expectation that none of our frozen embryos would work!!! we were moving interstate so wanted to use our last 2 eggs before we left and stupidly assuming we'd be trying for a couple of years again!

So 3 years of trying for DS and 1 month for DD! Miracles do happen (and still one embryo left!)

Hi - our DS was from a FET after our second icsi cycle (there were no embies left after first cycle). This time I prepared myself to wait 3-6 months, but our first icsi cycle worked (with 3 left over)!

So you never know - I think it's just luck of the draw or something???

    Good luck :-)
