New foam pillow

I just bought a new foam pillow. It's very comfy and supportive but it reeks of chemicals. The last thing I need is to be breathing poison in my sleep. I aired it outside yesterday afternoon & it's airing in the spare room now. Is there anything else I can do?

How long do you think it will take until it's ok?

Is it washable? Can you put it in your washing machine with a nice wool wash or perhaps lemon may help, air it and perhaps spray it with something like rose oil?
