Okay following on from my previous thread about Striders. The other pram on our shortlist is the Valco Rebel Q.
We are leaning towards the Strider for a couple of reasons, we prefer the handle (adjustable (i.e. bendy) rather than telescopic just feels nicer), you don't have to take into two parts to collapse and lastly the Rebel is more expensive and the extra features/quality doesn't equal the extra cost to us, if that makes sense.
Things I don't like about the Strider is well, it is massive! I don't mind so much that bubs is up quite high and I like the large basket but sheesh those rear wheels....
Does anyone have any experiences with both or either of these prams? Please tell me anything and everything you know he he.
It is so hard choosing something like this before you actually have the baby because we can speculate but we actually have no idea what it is like to have a baby LOL. I know it is early days yet but I'm a very organised person AND we have no baby stores where we live and are a good 5 hours away from Perth. Everytime we go we've got heaps to do so while I'm on school holidays and spending some leisurely time down there I'll get started and I don't want to be traipsing through baby stores 30 odd weeks pregnant and HAVING to decide on a pram, if I can help it. I didn't like it at 16 weeks pregnant LOL.
Taa muchly everyone, appreciate your advice/feedback.
Hi,
I have had both of these prams. I loved my Rebel Q it is such dream to push and is quite light. As for the strider it's a nice pram but it is huge and a lot of shops don't cater for the rear wheels on this pram, Also the seat in the strider is a lot harder then the rebel. The strider is also very heavy and we had to take it apart (including taking of the wheels) to get it in the car. If I was me I would choose the Rebel Q. I hope this helps.
