    Work and medications....

Hi All. Doing a down reg cycle (first time) with OCP, synarel, FSH and Leuveris - just started OCP. I have a pretty demanding job and was wondering if anyone has any experience on how the meds affect manual dexterity and capacity to function in difficult and stressful circumstances ..... any ideas on what I might expect would be gratefully received

I had no problems. I had headaches for the first couple of days on synarel but that eased up. I didn;t have Leuveris. I didn't have any other side effects. If my functioning was affected at all it would have been from the stress of infertility rather than from medications.

I'm doing down reg for the first time as well. I started the syneral on the 9th and had my first scan on 16th. So far I've just had a few headachy days and a yuck aftertaste but I haven't noticed any issues with manual dexterity. I start puregon later this week (all going well) and last cycle i used it (on antagonist) and i was emotional but that was it really. I dont know your other meds. The nurse gave me a list of the side effects so maybe you could ask them?
I agree with Lisa b though. Last cycle the main emotional stuff was probably partly becsuse I was doing the IVF anyway. And the most side effects I had were on the Crinone progesterone after transfer.

Good luck!! There's heaps of people in the LTTTC & AC at the moment so come and join us
