Dishwasher - Which one to buy?

Our Dishwasher died, it was the one that came with the house package when we built, its DEAD!!

Anyway, have been looking at Dishwashers online and overwhelmed by the brands etc, too much to choose from.

What have you got and whats good/bad about it?

Am leaning towards a Fisher & Paykel - possibly the double dish drawer, but not against the traditional model either, but need some feedback, am likely going shopping tomorrow arvo so need some quick replies

Choice magazine recommend the Bosch models for energy and water efficiency as well as the best clean. The f&p drawer model is very expensive for what you get.

LOVE my dish drawer but don't have anything to compare it to really other than a really really old model d/w. I love that I can do 2 loads at once, love the way it stacks, only uses 7lts of water and the way it washes is all great!!

Not a Blanco, ours sucks! We clean it all the time unblocking the jet thingos and we do those rinse thingos and it's still crapola

We don't have one would live one but need to redo kitchen to fit and the depth of machines is an issue, but have friend with F&P drawers and she says would not go back to normal style dishwasher.

Ditto that, but replace Blanco with Linea. It's seriously small, in that it doesn't fit many items, and some things that fit easily into my parent's washer have no hope of fitting in mine.

Love my F & P dish drawer - have had it around 4 years now with no dramas. Washes everything really well including baked on stuff.

I love the fact that I can do smaller separate washes instead of waiting for the whole dish washer to fill up - that way dishes don't stay too "stinky" for too long waiting to be washed. And it can fit a lot in as well. After having this I could never go back to a normal standard dishwasher.

We did a lot of research and got a lot of feedback from people when ours died and we ended up with a Bosch, highly recommend it.

Eta we had a dish drawer previously and the Bosch is so much better.

Thanks for all your help ladies. After walking between the F&P Drawers and the Traditional Model endlessly while in store we decided against the drawers only because DS has climbed into our kitchen drawers numerous times and I was worried - even though they have a childlock, he is pretty cluey. Anyway we got the regular F&P and its awesome, cleans sooo much better than our old one. I had a good look at the Bosch too, but in the end F&P won me over
