How about chewing gum like Extra after eating and then brushing with just water, flossing and rinsing with water before you to to bed. Perhaps extra flossing in the day.
My morning sickness has come back in all its glory and a huge problem I'm having is with toothpaste. Its bad enough if I smell it, but brushing my teeth is a test of strength of whether or not I can get through it. Seems a bit counter productive to brush my teeth and then vomit, only to need to do the whole process all over again!
I've tried a few different kinds to see if its a particular flavour or consistency but nothing seems to be any better than the next one. does anyone know if there is something else I can use, or had this problem too and found a toothpaste that isn't too bad?

Try light olive oil or sunflower oil. Or coconut oil.
Eating an apple and then rinsing mouth with water.
baking soda? eww....I have read somewhere that brushing your teeth with strawberry pulp makes them whiter? dont know about cleaner though....I so know how you feel, I couldnt even look at my toothbrush with out wanting to vomit![]()
In each of my pregnancies I have found a particular toothpaste that I seem to sort of crave. It's so weird. It's the Macleans Extreme Clean. It doesn't taste like the normal minty sorts of toothpastes. I never found that brushing my teeth made my morning sickness worse until this pregnancy. It doesn't worsen the morning sickness as such, but it has made me gag and dry retch a few times.
Oh no babeMaybe the Natura one or other health food store ones? They might not have such a strong mint flavour?
I put it straight on the toothbrush.
Google oil pulling as another option.
Bicarb as a paste would work.
I use Neways branded toothpaste. Its chemical free. You have to buy it from a consultant tho not a store.
Steer clear from fruit. Its fructose (sugar) so u don't want that sitting on ur teeth.
Health stores have childrens toothpaste that is chemical free and tastes completely different. We have the pineapple flavoured one, I think there also strawberry flavour or something.
It's called "Snappy Jaws"
Thanks so much everyone. Will track down some of those and give them a go.
I found an aniseed toothpaste once. was great. haven't seen it since
My husband was using a tooth powder from India. He didn't think it was too bad and maybe that is an option. I think he bought it online. Wish I could tell you more!
another kids toothpaste is "Jack and Jill" made in Australia and can get in health food stores or online (jackandjillkids dot com)
I live the lemon toothpaste from new Zealand. Cant use the mint stuff... It makes me gag!!!
I hope you've found something that works :-)
The Weleda toothpaste tastes nothing like toothpaste! I think you can get it from health food stores. Otherwise a strawberry flavoured kid one?
I"ve been using the girls' toothpaste - Wiggles or Dora. Still can't use much, but at least my teeth are getting some brushing.
