    DTD!

Just wanting to know how many of you were/are DTD in early pregnancy? I'm 8 weeks this week, and we've only DTD 3 times since the positive test at 11 DPO.

DH is getting frustrated with me, but I honestly feel too crappy to be in the mood. I'm sick all day long, seriously tired, crampy, gassy, constipated and headachey. It's the last thing on my mind. On top of that, I still have to do all the housework and cook dinner. In other words, DH is being an unsympathetic PITA and my hormones are making me a grumbly cow!

It is the LAST thing on my mind also!

Tell him to be patient from what i can remember from my DDs pregnancy was the second trimester is a lot better your energy levels increase as well as your libido

With DD we were DTD everyday (we hadn't been together that long...)
With this one, DTD is the worst thing ever...

This may be TMI, but the thought of DTD makes me want to go to sleep. So does foreplay. But, once we're actually DTD I have plenty of fun.... yeah....

Oh, golly I'm hearing ya! *warning TMI* the smell of the ahem makes me gag. I don't want to be near it, let alone have it dripping out of my hoohaa!!

I don't feel so bad now

YES!!! I can't stand it!! I thought I was going to lose my dinner last night!! Best advice there would be to go straight to the shower. Not romantic, but it saves alot of gagging.

This is a source of much frustration in our house at the moment. We used to DTD most days, now it's probably only every 3 days or so. I've been so lucky and haven't really had morning sickness but I'm so tired and DTD is the last thing I could be bothered doing. DF is being very understanding for the most part but sometimes his frustrations slip through. I really hope my energy levels and libido pick up soon

We havnt DTD since we found out I was UTD.
But I am the one who would like to, except I am normally too sick. When I do feel up for it, he is too scared and keeps telling me not before 12 weeks! I think I'll have to ambush him in a week or 2 when this constant hurling slows down..

When I was pregnant with DS I didn’t want to have sex, didn't want to think about sex, didn't want DH to think about sex, didn't want to be touched sexually…well okay, some days I just didn't want him to touch me period. just basically wanted to be left the heck alone. I probably only DTD with DH a handful of times (easily 6-8 weeks between sometimes). As in not a handful of times in the first trimester, but as in a handful of times the entire pregnancy! I had MS, and I mean the mother of all morning sickness from 4 weeks through until birth. I was sick. tired, sore, and just generally not in the mood.

This time around it's different. As in all DH needs to do is walk into the room and I want to jump him. We easily DTD 6 or 7 times a week. Really do think it's all dependant on the pregnancy.

That having been said your DH not helping is literally probably not helping. Is he the type you could drop the suggestion to that maybe you'd be more inclined/less tired if you got a bit more help around the place?

I am ok with DTD. Didn't affect me much. I am 9 weeks today. I was watching pregnant on heels and they explained DTD while pg does not affect the baby unless the position is uncomfortable for you.
