Hi Guys... i have a question and really need some advice.... i think i have had a misscarriage but not sure.. I woke up in the middle of the night to having wet underware like i had wee'd but it was blood! then i had put a tampon in around 8 am and then went to change it at 11am and when i got it out there was a big clump of tissue looking stuff on the top it had one strand that hung down on one side... the tissue is really weird i have never had anything like that with any of my periods.. i had cramps last night and this morning and i felt soooo drained i could have slept all day... but around 12 i didnt get anymore cramps and looks like the bleeding has slowed down dramatically.... what do you guys think?

i did a little bit of googling and found some information but it didnt really help.

Hard to tell. You need to go to your GP and ask for an ultrasound and HCG bloods. Where are you at in your cycle?

Ok woke up thismorning and there is no more bleeding at all?????

Rhi... i had my period bout 2 1/2 weeks ago so am guessing the 14 days between periods... but i am not rying to conceive atm as i have the IUD Marina in.. i got that put in on the 20th Dec i have made an appointment with my doctor for tomorrow.. i am just so confused to why i had that much blood and that bit of tissue its bizzare and scary at the same time....

Hi Hun,
Glad you made an appointment with the doc- thats the best thing you can do. In the meantime its probably best you don't use tampons until you have sorted this out as if you are having a miscarriage, using tampons can obstruct the passage of tissue out therefore causing infection.
