    Showing

When (if you have) did you start show?

DH told me last night I looked like I was bloated and needed to fart and I said, 'hun, I'm pregnant...'.

So I guess at 9 weeks I'm starting to show (now that I mention it, this skirt does feel a little snug).

I remember when I was in the first trimester I would just say I was thickening up a little not all bloated. With my DD1 I would have been about 15 weeks before it looked like a bump and not a beer belly and with my DD2 it was maybe 13weeks.

I looked a little bloated from about 12 weeks but I really showed at 15 weeks... it was over night too... was in pain all night like someone was blowing a balloon inside me and I woke up and there was a belly!

I gained 8kgs in the first trimester :S so I just looked fat! Haha.. My belly started to actually pop around 13 weeks I think? Well to me it did but maybe to others I just looked bloated?

My clothes were tight by 9 weeks and by 12 weeks I was well and truly into my maternity clothes.

My pants wouldn't button up properly by the time I was 11 weeks, and now I'm 15 weeks I'm starting to look a bit pg (though probably to strangers I just look pudgy )
I started wearing maternity trousers this week and OMG it feels better (till then I was using one of those pregnancy button extender thingies - what ARE they called?? - that you clip on your usual trousers to give you more waist space).
From memory I popped a bit earlier with DS2 - there was only 12 months between pregnancies. This time the gap is 23 months, so guess my body had a bit more time to recover.

I've been bloated since about 8 weeks and now, at 12.5, look well and truly preggers. Way sooner than with DD, I was able to hide it til 16 weeks

I feel that I felt (and looked) fat until about 13-14 weeks, at which point I finally started to look a little bit pregnant. I remember that things were getting snug pretty early on and I went looking for maternity jeans around 12-13 weeks. They are the most comfortable things, you should get into them ASAP lol

+1 for buying maternity jeans early. Only got mine at 15 weeks and wish I'd bought them sooner. I couldn't wear any of the fitted stuff in my wardrobe from 8-9 weeks but only started having a real bump at 15-16 weeks. (First pregnancy) It still depends a lot on what clothes I wear - only need to be slightly baggy and lots of people still say they can't tell whereas to me and DH it's really obvious now at 17 wks.

My clothes start getting tighter at 7-8 weeks but my uterus does sit unreasonably high

I have been really bloated and constipated since 5-6weeks and my hubby said I already looked pregnant but it seems to have abated a bit now as its not so bad, I have been so bloated my weight has fluctuated as much as 3kg overnight (no joke) my clothes are already a bit tight and just know I will be showing early as my tummy muscles never recovered (well I didnt help them much either ;-) and they are stretching quicker...

I've had a baby bump which I alone have noticed, from about 14 weeks, but today, just over 17 weeks, is the first time anyone else has agreed with me!

I'm 23 weeks and people are only just saying I look pregnant now. I did lose about 5kg in first trimester and the little man is sitting very low.

When I lie down I'm pretty much flat stomached

    #1 pregnancy I didn't show til 25 weeks!

#2 pregnancy I started showing at around 10 weeks.

I am carrying a few more kg the second time round and also everything is stretched out. I'm now 31 weeks and I compared myself to a 37week shot of my first pregnancy and I'm around the same size! Horrific!!

With DS It was about 16 weeks that I started to show!
With DD it was about 10 weeks
With Hugh it was 11 weeks
this one ummm really since I found out!! Honestly I am in my maternity clothes now!! Oh dear it is fairly obvious for me at the moment ..... may be because with DS I had muscle separation and as much as I tried I don't think that they repaired all that well!!! Ahh well that's me and this is our last buba!!!

I have only just started to show (1st pregnancy) and yesterday for the first time someone noticed I was pregnant when they did not already know......

For me and DP its been pretty obvious for the last couple of months. Have just found some pants with elastic waists and they are so super duper comfy, seriously why do non preganant ladies not know about these pants?!?!?
