So new routine for my family with DD1 at school. I have had 3 weeks off to help settle in and we've had issues, some progress but it has been stressful.
So I email with my shifts for next fortnight - and get why/not possible/doesn't suit. ARRGGGH!
Fair enough if I wanted all earlies but am actually juggling with DH to ensure his workload is manageable as well (he also works in same place) even this does not suit our family plan as such. Doing my share of all shifts and being very patient and calm but I can see where we are going.
I work hard - have been there for 17years and am really good at my job. BUT the culture is one of working mums being a drain and unfair on everyone else. Yep ok to say you have theatre tickets/pottery class but not picking/dropping kids off/up. It is not like they can look after themselves???!!!
Oh yes and it is woman being difficult - and she is pregnant!
That's pretty rude. All you need is a yes or no. It's really none of her business why.
But if you think it will help, lay out in detail exactly why you need what you need.
Is it her first pg? Maybe she doesn't quite get what's required. I know I didn't.
