Question Baby Boys "good clothes"??? (I'm so frustrated)

I'm trying to find a nice outfit for my DS2 for my brothers wedding, he'll be 3 months, but I'm getting nowhere... I'm looking for "proper clothes" ie not a onesie/all in one - I don't want him looking like he's in his pyjamas! Ideally cute little pants in black/grey/navy (proper pants- not jeans, trackies or cargos) and a collared shirt that I could put a little knitted vest over... I've been EVERYWHERE and can't find anything suitable... Even if I find a cute dressy shirt, it invariably comes with jeans or track suit pants (wtf?) or had a fake tshirt sewn in... I haven't seen any little pants.... The wedding is in 3 weeks and I'm starting to get desperate! My DS1 is wearing a proper suit but the only suits I can get in a 00 are those awful polyester cheap Chinese ones YUCK! Even DJs/myer had nothing! The closest thing I found were some overalls in a sickly pale blue, but the rest of us are in dark colours and it would look awful in the photos. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've looked online but nothing so far! Now if he was a girl, complete opposite

Have you checked out Myer? They have some good stuff like you're after. Or even check online for Christening clothes - they will definitely have black pants and nice shirts.

I was going to suggest the cheapo shops that always seem to have little tuxedo things, but you said you'd already seen and rejected those... Other than that I have no clue.

Jump on to Gymboree, they have wonderful stuff and if you order now shipping should be good.

Is he in 000? I have a black pants and button up black and white shirt set I can lend you if you like? My ds only wore it a couple of times so no stains or anything.

Excuse my sucky spelling, I'm on my iPhone

I would try Myer for Sprout stuff. Online I would try next direct or Gap if you have time for it to arrive from the US.

Thanks for the replies, I just checked out the suggestions but they all still only do jeans...or other casual pants my local myer had nothing and the lady in the kids dept wasn't very helpful. If he was a size 2 I'd be ok but nothing for a baby

Oh That sucks! I've seen some in the DJs, Myer and Mothercare near me in the last month or so.
Where abouts are you? Are you close to major city CBD store? I find the ones in Sydney city have more of a range than the stores in the 'burbs.

Hmmm... I'm in the city and Chatswood next week picking up my own dress (finding a dress to breastfeeding in is a whole other thread lol) might try DJs and Myer then!
