Buying Crystals Online?

Hello lovely ladies, i was wondering if anyone generally buys Crystals online or if you prefer to do it in person?

Every time i have ever purchased a crystals/stones i have done it in person, picking them up and just finding which one feels 'right' IYKWIM but i have seen a few through a lady on FB and i keep coming back to 1 in particular but i'd hate to spend some money on it then it arrives and it doesn't feel right.

Thoughts?

I've bought a fair few online (being where i am now n all)
but its amazing how a crystal can still "draw you in" even on line. the labirite (sp?) flat stone and my tibetan quarts where like look at. come back 24hrs later and i couldnt walk away KWIM from them. almost as strong as the draw i got from my rutilated quarts pendant (have had it 8 years) and my rutilated quearts ring (about 4 months)
trust that voice inside you with them. when a crystal calls you it'll find you.

I've not ended up buying crystals online (yet), I think because I just haven't found the right one, as you have described. I choose mine the same way. But I think, as Dansta said, that the right one will find you, however it finds you. If you are drawn to one repeatedly, then I would go with that. Same with angel, tarot cards, etc.

I've bought one online and when it arrived it was perfect. If it's talking to you, that's a good sign that you could do some good work with it.

Thanks ladies, my next issue is getting it here thout DP realising
It's not a big piece (amethyst cluster) and i would really like to have it on the bedside table but he thhinks crystals and things are just a waste of space.. hehehe am waiting on this seller to e-mail me about something else anyway so might see what vibe i get about a few other things from it first.
It canbe a late b'dday present to myself.
