I'm a new member to BB.....and I love it. Everyone is so helpful and I have picked up so many hints. I have just finished my first IVF cycle in Feb this year and unfortunately had a chemical pregnancy . I have high level of NK cells and my FS was treating it with Intralipid. I had a 200ml infusion a week before the transfer and meant to have a another infusion a week after a positive pregnancy test which never happened . I have learnt in the mean time that Clexane is to treat the NK cells which I was on as well.
Do you have high NK cells as well? If so, was/is your treatment different from mine?
Thank you for your info/help in advance
Me 37 (high NK cells), DH 42(low motility)
IVF #1, 2 transferred: chemical pregnancy
will start IVF #2 in April
Welcome to BB, I haven't been around for too long either I have found it to be very helpful!! Sorry to hear your first IVF cycle was unsuccessful.
I have been treated for NK cells, I had the 200ml intralipid infusion & if BT comes back positive I will be having another one. I also have to take dexamethasone, asprin & clexane daily, & have been taking them since the day after ET. I am crossing my fingers & toes that it all works I'm not a huge fan of the clexane!
Good luck with your journey, I hope you get your BFP soon!!
Thank you.... I took the exact medication you are taking as well . I also hated Clexane...it gave me bruises every time I injected myself. Was starting to run out of spaces for the injection after all those bruises .
Are you taking any supplements beside the IVF medication? Since my next IVF doesn't start til April, I'm now taking supplements like Q10 and fish oil on top of Elevit as well.
When I went to see my FS last Monday, he sent me off to have more blood tests done. When I asked him which supplements I should take, he highly recommended Q10 & fish oil.
I wish you all the best PlanetSasha, and hope you have fantastic news soon
