i use a MAC foundation. i used prescriptives for years but then it became really hard to get after they were bought out by clinique. i like the MAC so far - i also got a base/primer but have ony used it once because i didn't like how it looked on my skin (it seemed ok in the department store lights but not so good in daylight!!). i like the one i have because i prefer a minimalist look & this one seems to work for my skin.

I use a few MAC foundations in my professional kit (especially for bridal work) and on myself.

Some are great! Which one did you get Caz?

I haven't had much luck with the primer either sloane. Smashbox and Laura Mercier have lovely primers, and Korres makes a good one without silicone and other nasties if you prefer more natural ingredients.

I used Mac in the past but the cost was too much. I searched for an alternative, comparable foundation and Revlon photo finish is comparable and costs around $36

I love Mac studio liquid foundation! Have been using it for years. Now I know what colour I need to get, I now shop for it on Ebay and usually don't pay anymore than $30 plus $6 postage. I now can get into into Estee Lauder companies in the St Kilda and can get it there for $30.
I am fare in complexion and tend to perspire a bit on my face when I get hot and flustered (often), it really stands the test and it's light and natural looking on my skin. I also have freckles and it doesn't cover them completely, which is what I like as I want it to look natural.

Same here! I use Nude in my kit as well. One of the best mineral lines on the market.

I've used the Studio Fix liquid foundation and I love it. It's a great one for oilier skins. My sister uses another one by MAC in a thin tube... Not sure which one but it's more moisturising and she loves it.

I also love the MAC paint pots for eyes as the cream doesn't crease on me.

You can by MAC super cheaply in the US by the way.

    Buffy1 - I got this one:

M·A·C Cosmetics | Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation

I have dry skin. No. NW 25. I think it will be a tad darker when I loose my summer tan!

I also have forehead lines so wanting to get :

M·A·C Cosmetics | Prep + Prime Line Filler

My DH was not to happy, he said it shows my wrinkles more (grrr!).

I wanted to get Laura Mercer, but there was not a soul at the counter (at Myers). The Mac girl was really nice. She put it on for me, along with some nice blush.
