It's not carpel tunnel syndrome is it? It messes with your hands and wrists. I get it when pg and have noticed after my last pg my wrists and hands seem to get tingly and are weaker than normally are.
I'm not sure if what is happening is serious or just one of those mysterious things.
2 weeks ago I hit my hand on my car, not a hard hit. It did something to my vein, puffed up, bruised immediately and stayed swollen. It was a bit achy and tingly but soon was ok. I couldn't bend my fingers because of the swelling so my friend came round and she tried to manipulate it, she thinks a ligament moved the vein or something. She got it back into place by moving my knuckle. Then a few hours later it was fine.
So just before, I lifted a car seat and booster seat into my mum's car and I felt my hand tingling, this time my other hand seems to have the same thing - except it's the opposite hand and it's a vein in the middle of my hand!!!
My hand is a bit tingly, but other than that it feels fine, tender in the middle and it feels firm, not squishy like veins normally do.
So am I a freak?

I dunno I've never had it before! I sent my nurse friend a text, that's what she suggested too
Hi, sounds similar to something that happens to me sometimes. I can knock (or just move) a finger or my palm just gently and it will really hurt and a purple bit will come up under the skin straight away. Sort of like I have hit and bruised a vein or a ligament or something and it swells up and I can feel it tingling. But it always goes within about 10 minutes so I have not worried about it. It only started happening in the past few years.
I find it weird as if I really bang my hand or finger it does not happen and it seems to just be small movements that I have not even noticed that do it.
Nope never.... You're just a loveable freak face it![]()
I'd say its still bruised/inflammed, even though it might niot be visible to the eye. Treat your sore hand carefully, and hopefully Nature will take care of the rest. xx
