Please help with cycle info (FYI Maybe TMI)

Okay time to figure out what's going on with my body, since Oliver was born, my cycle has been 33 days long, half a days warning with a light period, then about 3 days of EXTREMELY heavy (Super Plus tampon every hour) then spotting for a day before gone, NEVER had spotting mid cycle... can anyone give me any guidance on what's going on? Went to doctor 1st Feb and was meant to go for a scan as I was questioning how heavy my periods were but cause my period came the next day I decided to wait until before the next one but cash has been a bit tight since.

    28 Dec - Light
    29 Dec - Heavy
    30 Dec - Heavy
    31 Dec - Medium
    1 Jan - Heavy
    2 Jan - Spotting

    2 Feb - Light
    3 Feb - Heavy
    4 Feb - Medium
    5 Feb - Light
    6 Feb - Spotting

    16 Feb - Spotting
    17 Feb - Spotting
    18 Feb - Spotting

3 Mar - Extremely light spotting
4 Mar - Extremely light Spotting

Just realised I was due the 6th March according to My Cycle (iPhone app)

I'm guessing it's hormonal or my weight, been trying to lose but it's not moving. Time to be more drastic on the efforts

Not sure what's going on there. It could be hormonal and therefore can be helped with treatment, or it could just be the 'new normal' for you. In the last two years mine has changed a lot compared to what it used to be and it's just normal for me now kwim?

Sorry to answer your question with more questions but,

Have you done a pregnancy test?

Have you been to your GP to have your hormone levels tested?

As Trillian said, it could be the new norm for you. But if you're concerned you should definately go see your Dr. If you think you're bleeding that heavy you need to get an eye on your iron levels.

I did and it said nope I'm not pregnant.

Doctor did blood test before last period and I didn't hear back but thinking of heading back this week.

Hope the new norm isn't this long hate the unknown
