    Whats your "weird" behaviour?

You know those ones that you know yourself make you a little OCD (not intending to make light of anyone actually suffering from this, this is just a light hearted Sunday afternoon thread )

My number 1 one would have to be wardrobe doors. I cant stand them left open. I dont know why, I dont know what it is but it honestly drives me mental. If I see one open, I will have to close it and usually if its mine I will slam it because I dont know how many times I have told DH to "turn the light off and close the freaking door!!!"
Actually thinking about it its cupboard doors too

My number 2 is I cant stand touching raw meat. It gives me the heebies big time. I buy boxes of disposable gloves so I can touch it to cook dinner but I buy bulk meat that DH has to separate and bag up cause I cant and wont do it.
This one started when I got food poisoning which I put down to undercooked chicken. So I was really anal when dealing with it from then and it has just progressed to all raw meat now.

    So fess up whats yours?

Pegs. I have to use the same coloured peg on each line of the washing line. Each of the lines can be different from each other, but every peg on a single line must match. I've always been like it and if anything am getting worse. Once in a blue moon when my DH actually helps hang washing on the line he thinks its hilarious to deliberately use different coloured pegs. All that happens then is that I have to go along and re-peg everything.

I also have to have all the handles of my coffee cups going in the same direction at the same angle.

All the towels need to be hung exactly evenly over the rails.

I cant touch Garbage bins, i have to get my hubby or kids to take the bins out and if i put something in the bin and i "think" my hand or finger had accidentally touched it, then i have to wash my hands a few times all the way up to my elbow and if i dont, i start to see germs crawling on my arm, like u know when u get that ants in snow on the telly, thats what i see..... crazy i know...

I hear you on the cupboard doors thing - your DH and mine must've gone to the same school of annoying habits!

I don't have the peg problem because I only have wooden pegs but when hanging DS's nappies all the inners of the same type have to be together, with the labels all facing the same way.

im a bit anal about hand washing too... i do it so much sometimes that even i pull myself up (like after ive folded clean clothes ill wash my hands) i have a cast on my left arm at the moment and carry antibacterial hand wipes with me everywhere and am forever wiping (what i can) my left hand..

empty boxes.. sounds small and silly but i CANNOT STAND it when someone leaves only a couple in te box.. am terrible at work and go a little mental if people dont put the boxes out (work with food so theres plenty of boxes)

    good thread btw

When I'm in the car I'm really particular about what "number" the volume of the stereo is on. It either has to be on an even number, or a multiple of 5. The "multiple of 5 rule" trumps the "even rule" though, so for example, it's preferable to have the stereo on 15 rather than 14 or 16 even though they are even numbers, lol.

Even if DH is driving and he changes the volume it will really bother me if it doesn't follow my "rules" until I change it. He just laughs at me now.

When I'm frustrated about something, I just want to clean. Vacuum, clean bathrooms, sweep the floor, dust, and I do it fast!!

    My house is really tidy!!

I hate bare feet (my own). I hate things sticking to my feet and hate them being dirty. Even in the house I usually wear socks or slippers all the time. Even on hot days. I don't like touching other people's feet if they look dirty or unkept/festy.

I ALWAYS wash my feet before going to bed. Even if I have had my shower in the evening =P

The volume of the TV has to always be on an even number. Toilet lids have to always be down. I memorize number plates all the time. I have quite a few more but can't think what they are. I can't stand long toe nails on anyone, it's gross and belly buttons, cotton wool and spiders make me' nearly vomit!

I'm a 'multiple of 5' theory person for car stereo volume, but DH does the even number thing!

I used to have my toilet paper going over the top of the roll. Now as long as its on the holder & not covering the floor I don't care!

My MIL gave me a peg problem too. Same type & colour for each piece of clothing.

I hate cupboard doors open. Kids keep leaving my pantry door open & its driving me nuts.

I also prefer the volume on en even or 5 number. But sometimes I'll purposely put it on an odd number for kicks

My curtains HAVE to be open through the day. I don't care how hot it is, or how much power I waste when my air con is on, I hate having my curtains closed. Its depressing.

So I think I'm just following the trends of everyone else

Except that I hate shoes... I wear thongs outside & nothing inside. I wear thongs all year round unless my toes are about to fall off

Wow! I'm totally germy, messy and filthy compared to you ladies.

Ummmm I hate the cupboard door thing too, and I have to have the linen cupboard neat. I also like a clean kitchen, but nothing out of the Ordinary.

You know Ive never even noticed pegs or volume numbers or coffee cup handles or labels...?

I like things to be in their place though and if I can't find a home for something I bin it/salvo it. I don't like excess stuff.

Haha I knew I wasnt the only one, with some funny quirks!
When eating salted peanuts I will only eat the whole ones not the 'broken' halves. Probably a good thing cause it means I wont eat handfuls of them in case the broken ones are in there.

    Whats your "weird" behaviour?

I'm another multiple of 5 or even (& yes, multiples trumps evens ) with car stereo.

I also have a peg problem. I have to use all the pink pegs first, then the blue ones, then the green ones and then the yellow. A single piece of clothing can only have the same colored pegs so if I have something that requires 2 pegs but I only have 1 say blue peg, I have to put that item back and get something that only requires one peg.. Lost yet?

Also the toilet paper has to be 'over'. I even have to change it at my sisters to use it of its the wrong way!

I'm sure there is something I'm forgetting but I'm sure you all think I'm crazy now (if you didn't already )

At my work ( I work with food ) If someone else has stocked the fridge before me, and the rows are uneven, drinks in the wrong spot, i HAVE to move everything about until it is how I was first told it had to be, and the first row usually has the biggest part of the lable/logo facing out, even though the customers cant really see the fridge very well from the counter.. and the boxes, so many boxes! Just thrown everywhere and anywhere or with only a few things in there. I have to empty it, flatten it and take it out the back.

At home I cant stand curtains open at night, even the tiniest little gap creeps me out! Toilet seat always down, I live with 3 males, My DP, My brother and his DP, they all put the seat down.. Apart from my brother and boy does he know about it when he does it! and cupboard doors too for me. And our fridge at home has to be stocked right too (I blame work for that one!)
If I am the one putting dishes away, the plates/bowls have to be right, my mum got me a set of black and red ones, and they HAVE to go black red black red!

I never realised how many things i was a bit anal about before!
