Light spotting - could it be pre-labour?

Hi ladies

I had some very light pinky-red spotting this afternoon and am wondering if it's a pre-labour sign? No other discharge, so I'm not sure if it's part of my plug, cervix thinning out or just a random third tri symptom...?

Has anyone had this/can shed some light? Dr Google is doing my head in so am trying to avoid it. There was literally one little spot, so probably not worth calling the midwifes about unless it continues, right?

For extra background, I'm due tomorrow and have had period-type cramping and lower backache during the wee hours over the past few days. Braxton Hicks have also ramped up.

I spotted lightly for 2 days before prelabour started with DD1.
