    Goldfish losing it's colour?

Not really concerned, I just think its weird.. We have a white goldfish, which is quite huge, and it used to have a half orange head. I've noticed in the last couple of days that the orange has faded quite considerably, so the only real orange patch is a strip between it's eyes/on the top of its head. There are a few faded orange scales around it, but the rest of what was orange has turned white.
Is this normal? We've had it for maybe 6 months or a bit longer, definitely no longer than 12 months.

We have one that's done the same. It used to be called Oscar Goldman (don't ask!) because it was a bright gold color. Now, a year or so later, it's almost colorless???? The others are still their original color.

I think the biggest problem you have now is what kind of fish is it turning into? Surely if it's not gold, it aint a goldfish

We had a calico that turned into a gold and white fish. Can't remember why it happened I did ask the pet shop about it.
