    6 months post-weaning - and questions

I've not breastfeed for 5-6 months now. Last week my nipple felt wet, and I squeezed and milk came out! is this normal? Same thing this morning in the shower (I wanted to check to see if was a 1 off). Also, I noticed that I have what looks to be tiny pin ***** size scabs on my nipples now. It may be just pigment spots, but it's rougher skin and they are tiny, tiny dots. I've had a breast check recently so I'm not to worried, but just wondering whether this is common.

Many mums find that they still have a bit of milk months later. I don't think that's anything to worry about. I'm not sure about the scabs though. I'd say it's most likely normal but it's always a good idea to get any unexplained breast changes checked out. Perhaps you could ask an LC as a first step, I'm not sure all GPs would be across what changes are normal for mums that have breastfed recently.
