Urgent help! - Not for the weak stomach
Help
we had a bbq on the weekend and now our bin is full of maggots. Large ones, eggs you name it!
How do i get rid of it naturally???
HELP!
Im going to gag!

Ummm... close the lid, run away and let someone else deal with it?! That's what I'd do

Pour boiling water in there to kill them or sprinkle salt. totally gross though, we had them in our inside bin one year

Yeh i have, they said borax which i dont have
i might try boiling water and bleach. Thats what others have said but i wanted to hear from anyone else on BB that actually had something work lol

I use boiling water on maggots, then I would just give the bin a good hosing and only use a cleaning product if it was actually grotty.

I just use boiling water on them as well. Seems to do the trick.

boiling water then bleech and bicarb here - got rid of the stench that way too...

Is this in the wheelie bin? When does your garbage collection happen?
To kill maggots, just pour boiling water over them.
They're just a natural part of food decomposition, personally I'd leave them if they were in the wheelie bin. If they are in the inside bin, boiling water & then throw them into the wheelie bin.
