Its not AF already is it??!

I stopped my pp bleeding about 4-5 days ago, ive been crampy all day today and just went to the loo and had some dark pink discharge (more bloody than the final stages of pp bleed) its not AF already is it??? ive been carb loading too like i normally do before af comes.
A is exclusively breastfed and is 5w 3days old.

Maybe you just hadn't completely finished the post birth loss yet? I couldn't tell you though... my body has never done the same thing twice post birth!

It is hard to tell at this stage but it is possible. With DD1, I didn't get AF back till 6 months, with DD2 it was back after 6 weeks and hasn't skipped a beat since. I definitely feel jibbeb this time as both my girls are/were exclusively breastfed and this time I'm even tandem feeding!

I'd go with still pp bleeding. Keep an eye on it to make sure that it doesn't increase or have an offensive odour to make sure you don't have an infection.

I'd be surprised if it was AF especially so soon especially with A exclusively b/f but you never know.

This time round my PP bleeding has stopped and started more times than I can count. It's a total PITA I have to say. The GP told me it wasn't normal, but a canvas of my GFs told me it wasn't uncommon either.

It could be AF I got AF back when DD was 6weeks old and had only just stopped pp bleeding. And yep was exclusively breastfeeding and quite frequently too.

I excluaively BF DS and got AF at 5wks, exclusively BFing but sleeping 6hrly overnight from 3wks.
With DD I stopped bleeding about 8 days post birth and thought I was getting AF at 3wks PP with similar discharge as you describe but I attributed it to continued PP bleed as no AF since. DD still feeds 3-4hrly round the clock.

My PP bleeding stopped after 3-4 weeks, then I had another lot at around 6 weeks. I thought AF had come back, but I've had nothing since and DD is about to turn one.

With DD I finished pp bleeding at about 5 weeks, then had AF 4 weeks later, which was regular until I conceived again when DD was 3 months old. This time, I finished bleeding at about 4 weeks, and had another bleed 2 weeks later so at around 6 weeks. I've since had a shot of depo, so nothing since...

Bodies do weird stuff. But I do understand the feeling gypped thing!

It's possible it's AF, but I remember that after I had Shayla I had pp bleeding that stopped then started a few days later again. It happened a couple of times and was a brighter red blood again. I felt rather ripped off, lol. I do think that it would happen after days where I had stressed by body a little too much and wondered if I was to blame.

Both times my AF came back at 6 weeks for me, and my PP bleeding had ceased by 3-4 weeks. Just one of those things really, but totally jibbed!!
