    Girls name? (YES, already!)

So DH and I like to have our names picked out nice and early, always have. I feel like its especially important this time, because I'm feeling a lot of disconnect from this pregnancy and I'm hoping having a name will help me bond (it certainly did with DD).

So for a boy, we already have Kiefer James.

The list we have so far for girls:

    Elwyn
    Esme
    Penelope
    Soleil
    Evangeline
    Amity
    Emilie
    Audrey

Likes, dislikes? Suggestions? It's likely that these names will be used as middle names also Fire away! Our last name is Collins.

Of course yes already! DD's name took us 3years. Always better to start early, I reckon.

I like lots of them! Amity has really been jumping out at me the last few days, don't know why.
    In order, I put them:
    Esme
    Audrey
    Amity
    Penelope/Evangeline
    Soleil
    Elwin
    Emilie

Please please please go with Soleil Audrey or Audrey Soleil! Soleil was on my list way back when, but no-one else liked it and I think it's beautiful Audrey is gorgeous too, it's one of those classic sophisticated names

Or you could scrap all those and name her Tenielle It's my mission to get at least one BB baby named after me

I like them all except Elwyn. Esme is short for Esmerelda which is a fabulous name. Audrey is my favourite on your list. It's on mine too.

I have to say Emilie is an awesome name I did consider that spelling for my DD but settled for the more common "y" ending. I have to say though, once she was born , everyone started telling me they wanted it for their babies. One cousin of mine has even called her DD Emily. & another cousin & a friend now have Emma's. My cousin with the Emma, was going to call her Emma-Lee but dropped the -Lee when they heard my DD's name. The other people who said they wanted Emily, either choose other names or haven't had babies yet

I also like Esme (or Esmae) & Penelope from your list. Elwyn, Audrey & Amity are pretty but not fave's of mine.

    Emilie Esme sounds beautiful IMO.

Ooh thanks guys for the feedback! Ha, I quite like Elwyn...it's the Kiefer thread all over again Rowellen, omg, Esmae would be gorgeous spelling! My name is Lily-Mae, DD is Isla-Mae, to name the next girl Esmae would be a beautiful way to continue that tradition Adding it to my list.

There is only one girls name for me. Unfortunately, it's unlikely I'll actually have the girl to give the name too.
