Bugaboo Donkey?

Ever since they had the pre-release adds for these i have been so desperate for one & now I'm pregnant I am tossing up between the donkey and the Cameleon.

If you have one I would love to hear your thoughts!

Does it push well?
Is it worth the price tag?
What about the fold?
Is the mono really a compact fold as advertised?

I totally wanted one. I have envy every time I see one. I stood in David Jones and drooled at them. They were everything I wanted plus some. Due to them not being available I got a Baby Jogger City Mini Double. It's fabulous but I'm selling it because my daughter refuses the pram and wants to walk everywhere or go in the Ergo. I have a 15 month gap. If I have the Donkey it wouldn't be an issue because it converts to a single!!!

Do it so I can live vicariously through you

Miss E has one, but she just had a bubba so might not post. She loves it.

I wanted one but my second came a bit too early to make it work.

I hardly even use prams, and always thought Bugaboos were ugly... Yet somehow I've been drooling over the Donkey. It's something special, thats for sure

I tested one at the Baby show recently, and

it is AWESOME!

argh, i drool over it all the time too, I stalked a lady once just to see her donkey!!

I have one - I love it. I have 2 boys (22 month gap). Awesome for those days when nobody is sleeping - they always sleep in it and it can lie flat for them. Goes everywhere - even on the sky safari at the zoo. It is everything I wanted it to be. Fold is big but what double isn't? I cope with the fold fine and you can take seats off to make the fold smaller etc.

Im planning on using it as a single only, does that make a difference in the fold?

Other than width - not really. It's ded not a simple fold like the bee but it doesn't require a genius either if you know what I mean

hahaha I once stalked a lady who was in town for holidays and had one, I made DH drive past her like 3 times then i seen her in the bakery the next day, this pram is devine! Im quiet confident ill come home $1700 poorer next wednesday!!

Bugaboo have an international warranty and there is a website called babyshop you can buy the donkey from and it is only 26Euros flat rate postage...most of the ladies on the bugaboo pramaholics page have bought their donkeys there and had excellent service......around $1300 for the duo and I think under a grand for the mono.....just sayin........
