    Dr Martens

So DH asked me if I'd like some Docs for my birthday, and I've never owned a pair before. I have wide feet (probably due to the fact I didn't wear shoes growing up in the Solomon Islands) - do Docs come in various widths? Or are they a one width fits all kind of thing?

Or you could get some Birkenstocks? Soooo comfy for wide feet! I think Sushee has Docs though? She might be able to tell you.

I've had many pairs of docs, shoes as well as boots.

I have a wide foot an never had a problem with them BUT I haven't bought any for 10 years, they are a little more mainstream now so might be slightly different.

Man really missing my black buckled school shoes and bright purple 8 hole boots now!

I bought a pair about 8 years ago and I wear them all winter. They are great. I have wide feet, even wider now I am pregnant, and they still fit me great.

I love, love, love Docs!!!! I wore them for years!! They were the only shoes (boots) that i managed to make last longer than five minutes!!!

I went without them for years until my darling cousin mentioned she had a pair in my size sitting around that she never wore and she gave them to me and my feet have been in bliss ever since!!!

I dont know so much about wider feet, but they just feel great. They are leather and the kind of just mould to your foot. When you first put them on, they are stiff and you may think WTF was i thinking.. but after a while, you "wear" them in and they just form around your foot and then they are the most comfy things in the world!!!!

Mistyfying - I have narrow heels and wide toes, and they really suit me too. Only thing I find is that I either have to wear thicker sox for my heels or wrap the laces around the top holes - mine are 12-hole ones, black with purple stitching/eyelets. I love, love, LOVE them! The only time I *don't* love them is when I have to go to the airport through the scanners.
