Hyperthyroidism diaganosed before, after or during pregnancy?

Hi All,

Well after a couple of weird cycles, I have had some blood tests done and my new GP has discovered I may have an hyperthyroid (over active thyroid)

I had a m/c in Feb, and now Dr thinks it could be linked (very slim chance, but possible) and that my thyroid didn't cope very well being pregnant and had become hyper.

Just wondering if anyone else has it or had it after a pregnancy?'
If so, what were your symptoms?
Was it diaganosed before you concieved, after becoming pregnant, during the pregnancy or after birthing?

I can't offer any advice as I'm the opposite (hypothyroidism diagnosed while TTC.)

I would be asking for a referral to an endocrinologist for expert advice as GPs levels of experience managing thyroid conditions in pregnancy can be quite variable.
