Just wondering if any one lives or knows in general, what The Chase Estate in Berwick is like? We're getting ideas of where to move and have noticed a lot of houses for sale in this estate in Berwick. Is there something wrong with it?!
I live up the road from The Chase Estate in Berwick so whilst I don't know the estate personally, I have driven in it and past it numerous times. I have no idea why alot of houses are for sale in there, however there is ALOT of development around the Berwick area at the moment, so that might have something to do with it??
The Chase estate is relatively new, it has a primary school in the estate and it backs onto Eden Rise Shopping Centre. The shopping centre has a Coles Supermarket & liquor, numeorus take-away shops, an Aldi, Brumbys Bakery, Chemist, Butcher, Fresh Chick Shop, Newsagent & Tattslotto, Optometrist, Clothes shop, kids shop, Commonwealth Bank, Westpac Bank and others that I can't think of off the top of my head.... Accross the road there is a pub with a bistro, numerous take away shops, McDonalds, Red Rooster, Hungry Jacks etc.... Whilst it is considered 'Berwick' it is approx. 6 minutes from main street Berwick (via car). There are public buses that run fairly frequently in the area to Berwick & Fountain Gate etc... I really love Berwick, although it is really busy. There was another thread about Berwick a while ago & some people actually moved out of the area and further out towards Pakenham/in Pakenham b/c of the town planning and traffic etc....
