    Do you make the bed?

I make my bed and DD's bed every day. Without fail. I don't have a particular need to get into a bed with crisp sheets or anything like that, I just like having the bed made.

Someone made a comment once to me about someone else - they were talking about how the other person was going to cope with motherhood when "they're one of those people who have to make the bed." And I remember thinking, but that's me. I have to make the bed!

So do you? Or is there something else that you just HAVE to do each day?

Rarely do we make the bed.

However my floors need to be very clean. I sweep or vac each day.

The bed has to be made every day otherwise I feel like the whole house is messy (even if it's just the bed that's unmade and the whole house is tidy, go figure!) lol.

I can't leave to drop my DS1 off to school until all the beds are made! Everything else seems tidy when the beds are made (in my mind anyway ). I love coming home to what feels like a tidy house.

I only usually make the bed just before I get into it each night My mum makes hers every day.
If DP didn't enjoy his sleep ins I probably would, but by the time he gets up, I just cant be bothered

If we're having people over, or an inspection, or anything where someone might see our bedroom, then I make the bed. Usually I don't though. I do love when the bed is made though.

LOL, no I don't. My mother and Grandmother are disgusted in me I go through phases where I do but it's a PITA really because at midday they both have naps so the beds get unmade again (I feed DD2 to sleep on our bed) so I have to make them twice a day! So I gave up

I have to make the bed. I have been known to re-make it before getting into bed at night.

I also have to have my towels hung up, currently I'm being slack and the bath mat isn't hung up on the rail unless it is quite wet from morning showers.

I also like the cushions on the couch to be neat. I'm usually like that with the cushions on the bed, but right now that is something that I'm just dealing with not happening every day.

Every day here too. Can't cope with it if its not made I also make DS's everyday but not the twins because I would have to re-do everytime they have a sleep. No towels on the floor either. My sisters hate me for it - when we all lived together, I was the messiest person ever. Now I am crazy about a clean house.

I don't see the point - who's going to see it? And it's just going to get slept in again anyway...

I agree with Miss B... The whole house feels tidier when the bed is made.

And I love getting into a made bed, best way to end the day!
