13 months and still no period?

DS2 is 13 months old and I don't have af back.

It returned at 8 months with DS1.

I am still b'feeding, however I was also when it returned at 8 months with DS1, which is why I'm a little concerned now.

Is this normal? Should I be worried?

I lasted two years with both mine. I had very jealous family and friends (female of course). I loved it. Enjoy the break!

My final period before DD1 was in Sept 2005......and it returned in Oct 2011!!! Yes, 6 years between periods. In that time i also had DD2 (Feb 2008) AND DD3 (Feb 2010). I have also been breastfeeding every day since July 2006. It amazing how different our bodies are.

AF returned at around 11 months with DD1 and she was comp fed and only on 4 feeds from about 10 weeks! One of my friends is still BFing her daughter (who will be 3 in July) and she was exclusively BF yet AF returned at 6 weeks! There's no rhyme or reason, good old AF just seems to have a mind of her own

    Enjoy!

Mine hasn't returned until after I've stopped breastfeeding. So to have the next I have to stop completely.
Everyone is different though as my sister gets her first at 6-8 weeks pp and she has fed all her babies at least 12 months each.
    Enjoy the break
