I have a cuisinart ice cream maker. Very good an easy to use. I think I paid $150.

I have a panasonic bread maker - it's silver on the outside. It is great, I can make bread, dough, jams, etc in it. It's pretty noisy though so isn't great to preset to come on in early hours of morning as it wakes me up! It also has a gluten free function.

I have a sunbeam bakehouse breadmaker. It's really good. It also has a gluten free function and makes bread, dough, cakes and I think jams. We haven't had a bad loaf come out of it.

Our icecream maker is also sunbeam (not for any other reason that the fact it was cheap and saw it and wanted it...). It's great too. I have recommended it to others and they like it too. I guess the only 'bad' thing about it is that it only makes a max of 1l at a time. I don't know if other ice cream makers can make more, but once you've been through all the effort of making the mix and then cooling it and then mixing it and letting it set, it sometimes feels like it's gone too quick. Then again.....I do live ice cream.....
