My kitty passed away tonight :-(

Miss Ollie was 15 yrs and 8 months.

We got home from a day out and she didn't look well at all. After some discussion we rang the vet but to be honest we just couldn't afford the $110 to put her down and the vet said by the sounds of it she had had a stroke. She wasn't in any pain and he said to keep her warm and comfortable and he would ring us if he was called into the surgery and it would cost half that price..

She actually ended up passing in her sleep about an hour or so after I spoke with the vet.. Poor kids were devastated. They are all finally asleep now

Efjay. I have read that before. I don't think I would be able to read it tonight.. Will wait a couple of days..

I was just saying to DH that this will be the first time in my life (except for a couple months when I first moved out of home) that I haven't had a cat. Its strange already..

I have the yucky task tomorrow of getting rid of cat bowl and her left over food.
