Accident prone leading up to AF

Is anyone else accident prone in the lead up to AF? In the last few days I've fallen over, nicked my fingers on one hand and removed the skin on a knuckle on the other hand (I cut a gouge out on a tin). I have bandaids and bandages all over my hands. This stuff always seems to happen to me in the lead up to AF.

Now that I think of it I am a bit. from about a week before, all the way to the week after I seem to get the feeling I'm walking on something that isn't level, and it makes me walk into door frames I tend to hurt myself more at work too, and its mostly burns on my hands ouchies.

Yes, and there's a scientific reason too. Something about the increased fluid retention affecting your proprieception (your brains interpretation of where your body is in space).

Cool. I assumed it had something to do with progesterone. I like the water connection. Feels like the moon's pull on the internal tide

Not a fan of being so unco though

I think there is a word for it. Maybe german? I forget. My mum used to say it.

Could also be... I get really unco in early pregnancy too.

i am so clumsy and usually always manage to drop and break glasses lol
i also manage to bruise myself by running into things
actually as soon as i get clumsy its the first sign AF is on its way lol

This is interesting! I am really unco and walk into door ways a lot... I'll make note of where I am in my cycle and if I do it frequently at that time next time I'm unco.

Yeah, I get that. It also affects my ability to park the car - normally just whizz into a space no worries, but before AF or in early pregnancy I am likely to come close to nudging a pole or another car! Eek. But I am aware of that and I just take a whole lot more care. Maybe no sharp objects near you in pre AF week? LOL
