    Am I the only one

Who's dreading the moment when I actually start to get a baby bump?
I've read heaps of posts by ladies saying that they can't wait until they get a baby bump, but personally I am not looking forward to it at all. I hate that in-between phase, where people can't tell if you're pregnant or just had too many ice-creams... Does anyone else feel like this or am I strange?

Lol I hated that phase first time around. 2nd time, no need to worry as for some reason I already look 20weeks pregnant and I'm in maternity clothes already! I do prefer the hard bump to the jiggly one however, I agree it just makes you look like you have had too much food.

nope - I hate it too. And the "don't quiet fit into my normal clothes but maternity ones are too big" phase - what a way to kill self confidence!

I actually had someone say the other day that I've popped and then touched my belly and went "nope, just fat moving" WTF? 1) who says that to a pregnant woman? 2). who says that to a pregnant woman?!

mothergoose- thats disgraceful!!!!!!! Who on earth would say that to someone? It would have to be either my sisters or my mum for it to be slightly ok and even then I dont' know. What did you say back? ( and what better thing did you think to say back after the event )

Starfish- sorry I'm one of the ones wanting a bump

    you clearly know me well!

At the time I mumbled "Um. Thanks. I'm late for a meeting"

What I WISH I'd said.... "That's what happens when you eat inconsiderate, insensitive, ill thinking people"

This is the first time ever that i'm not sporting a baby bump. but it's because i'm much bigger starting out then i ever have been. I'm not sure whether to pretend my fat is my baby bump or not LOL I look about 5mths pregnant already. blah.

I'm there. For me i can't wait to have an OBVIOUS baby bump... but the in-between-could-be-fat stage is frustrating!!

Bahahaha! Yeah, I have a pudgy tummy so I don't think it was until I was about 17 weeks that people started to realise that I was pg b/c I never really announced.
