    Replacement for eggs in Cupcakes

What do you use as an egg replacer when making cakes/cupcakes.

I want to do mini cupcake decorating as an activity at our playgroup but one of the children is allergic to eggs. So what can I add instead of eggs, my cupcake recipe needs 3 eggs...

Isnt it apple sauce? I know that sounds random but I made a cake for a vegan once and that was what I used!

I believe chia gel can be used successfully. I haven't tried it but I do have some chia seeds I could have a go with if you like?

You can buy Orgran No Egg from the Supermarket or health food store.

Psyllium husk is my fave. 1 tsp to 2 tvsp water.
Flaxseed meal in the same ratio, let sit til it gels.
Chia seed - 1 part seed to 5 parts water
Jam - 2 tbsp for every egg. Better for biscuits, but will work for cake in a pinch.
