Job application - can someone check this for me please?
I'm applying to be a study supervisor. I am a qualified teacher and therefore am expensive to employ, however this job won't be employing me as an actual teacher, just a cover teacher (and therefore pays half as much, but no planning or marking so really only working half the hours). However, I need a job and this is in a local boys school that just a couple of years ago had a bad reputation, but they've worked hard and turned it around. Also in the job description is doing form tutor work, some PSHE, some SEN and some exam invigilation.
What do you think of this personal statement?
Thanks!
eta - SEN is special educational needs, PSHE is personal, social and health education, QTS is qualified teacher status, NHS is the health service.

I'm not sure where you are planning to put it, as usually I'd put something like that in the cover letter, however it looks good to me! I don't know all your acronyms, but you sound confident and interested, and that's the most important thing!!
good luck!
