Brazillian waxing- Please tell me it will hurt less each time!

Usually I just shave down there but today went for my first Brazilian wax and OMG the pain, she was very good and quick and told me each time should be better. I'm booked back in in 4 weeks time and already scared, please tell me it gets better!

Yes it does the first time after shaving is bad but the hairs will grow back softer and it will hurt less.

Everyone has differing pain thresholds! Some people barely even flinch and others almost cry. Best thing to do is have a hot shower right before you go and exfoliate, trim it so it's not too wild!

Lol now I've prolly scared you, was very painful in some spots but maybe I'm sooky lala lol. Didn't take too long. Wish I was one that didn't feel it bad. I so hope next time is better!
I'll be trying the hot shower beforehand next time!

I also used to make sure that I booked in well clear of AF, as I was always much more sensitive in the lead up to that.
Now I can't see over my pregnant belly to actually know how "back to nature" it is down there so I've temporarily put waxing hold.

Brazilain waxing- Please tell me it will hurt less each time!

It does hurt but it's worth it. I was a beauty therapist when I was younger so I do my own!!!!
Be aware of what time of the month you do it as you will be more sensitive at certain times so avoid those times.... iykwim!!
I agree with joeve, hot shower and exfoliate before.
It will get better though as you get used to it and the hair softens.
Good luck with your next one :-)

For first timers I allow about 40 mins just but regulars about 15 totally worth it! However I have let mine go wild since being UTD so I am scared to do it! Funny it never hurts when I do other people rofl

I wouldn't know because I only ever went once. That was enough for me. I've braved childbirth 3 times and would prefer to do that again than get another brazillian wax hahaha

It gets better and easier each time. I've been having mine done every 6 weeks since I was 17!!! Although I have to admit whilst I'm pregnant and having it done.... It f***ing kills!!! I wouldn't choose to have it done for the first time while I was pregnant. When I'm not pregnant to be honest I don't find it hurts at all, my hair is very fine after having it done for so long though.

I don't think it gets better! Do agree time of month does matter and technique of therapist too. But gave it up after about 6 times as didn't think the pain was worth it.

It definately gets better. But like someone else said while pregnant it kills!
The worst spot is right in the centre of the pubic bone.

i epilate between waxing (if I do it regularly I dont need to wax at all) which helps!
