Have made DS's dinosaur cake for his party tomorrow and have iced with ready made (roll out) white icing which I have coloured green (coz its a dinosaur colour???). However because of the shape of cake I had to roll the icing in smaller lots. Any tips on how i can blend the joins? I am sure there is something simple out there I just don't know it
Also best way to store overnight. I currently have on a cake board. Cake is rich Devils Food Cake.

Sorry I've only just seen this, I haven't been online since yesterday.
How did you go with the joins? I would have suggested gently pressing the edges together, and smoothing them, a bit like you would on modelling clay.
Also, for storage overnight, out on the bench would have been fine, covered (loosely, but sealed) with cling wrap (so probably need a couple of lengths of cling wrap).
