I have grosby ones and they have been great!!!! I before these had some from a shoe party that were made to order and they were the most comfo ones I had ever had.
OK. Now I've stopped sniggering at the title....
Have you tried and of the comfy feet inserts? Or, if your alignment isn't spot on, orthotics?
I assume you can't ear athletic shoes but maybe you could look at some of the athletic shoes dressed as works shoes they sell at the athletes foot.
Also Birkenstocks are very comfy and some of them have a closed toe that meets WHS requirements.
Maybe you could track down a barefoot shoe that is a little formal looking but they say you need to ease into them so they mightn't be great for long shifts.
I used to be able to wear my New Balance runners to work all day and not have sore feet. I also bought a pair of shoes from Rivers which were so comfy to wear to work. ATM I'm wearing my Havi's.
Hush Puppies are good shoes too. Even look at Homy Peds, they're making some funky styles these days. There's a style called Peppa which would be perfect for work.
I've got the Crocs leather work type shoe (Barista model) but they may be too mannish for you... Super light and comfy though (and can't tell they're Crocs).
I bought sketchers. They have a work (offuce flat) style.. They are so comfy, well worth the $110 I spent on them.. I actually love work days just so i can wear them.
