    Super - which one?

    Hi guys,

Question about super to help me decide.

Currently I am with an industry super fund - Australian Super, but my current company just signed a deal with a retail fund and am offering group discount.

Obviously fees are higher but apparently it has more options etc.

Are you with an industry super fund or one your company is with or your own super? and why did you choose that option?

I am also with Aus Super. Aus Super has just been rated in the top 10 in Australia & is performing very well. In changing to another fund you will need to compare their performance with Aus Super over the last 3, 5 & 10 years if they have the figures & also the fees inc trailing commissions if any to see which fund suits you best. Also where they invest your money depending on the level of risk you are happy with. If they have trailing commissions this could change the fee structure next year when they can no longer be charged if it is not postponed again.
Super is a mine field lol & research is the only way you will know which one your comfortable with. I have been with AMP, BT but I changed to Aus Super as I prefer the make up of the level if risk I have chosen.
