    RLT for postpartum bleeding

As the title suggests I was wondering what other people's experiences/views etc were on taking RLT in the postnatal period to help with lochia.

I have a history of my cervix being a bit uncooperative (shaped a wee bit different to the norm) and this can make it tricky for lining etc to pass easily. I have heard along the grapevine that RLT can really help with this?

I am asking specifically for the postnatal period as have been advised against taking it prenatally due to quick births and threatened PTL etc.

    TIA!

Ouch! As in, it's harder to pass lochia through your cervix? Cos if that's the case, RLT would probably help as it would contract your uterus and probably push more out (ew lol!). But combined with the after pains with this being your third, I'd imagine it would make things quite painful?

Blissful herbs make some wonderful herbal teas that could help you. I use her womb love tea before and during my bleed to help tone the uterus. Google blissful herbs and you'll find her.

PZ: hmmm i didnt think of it exacerbating the afterpains it was horrendous enough the second time and i have been warned by my IMs to prepare for even more intensity.

and yep, it appears that my cervix likes to keep it in...i had issues with endo on the cervix for example pre-babies and had clots etc that got trapped last time (sorry if TMI lol).

Trill: ahhh now I have heard of blissful herbs...I will have to check it out, the womb love tea does sound just about right.

Apparently there is a place down the road that also does a womb-warming massage...but i reckon that it is no doubt exxy and trying to find time with a newborn and 2 other kidlets...well, we all know what that would be like...a needle in a haystack

I've heard great things about blissful herbs and I bought their afterbirth tea, so I'd check them out!
