Rainchecking a sale item

Quick question...

In the target catalogue ending on the 17th, there is a toy which is sold out in every Target I've been to and also online. In the catalogue it doesn't say "no rain check" next to this item but it does for others... so on that basis, I should be able to rain check it?

Yep most definitely.

You should be able to call up your local Target and do it over the phone. If its a popular item you may have to wait a little while though.

Thanks I'm not worried about waiting - it's for Christmas and its a good price - if it wasn't on sale it would still be $10 cheaper than other major toy shops

If the toy shops have it, they will normally match the price, so I would try them.

Most places wont price match unless the store you are after has it in stock!! Tryed that before and Toys r us rang target to see if they had any and they said no so refused to price match!

That sucks.. Must depend on the store. I looked up a catalogue on my phone in toy world one night, and the lady matched it.. (Mine was just cause I was too lazy to go to the other stall inside a large centre), but she didn't check, only that the reduced price was valid..
