Positive words to describe your children

I would love to hear some of the positives! I think it's easy to be caught up in the different stages of being a parent and instead of seeing behaviour as a by product of them growing and learning it becomes a negative as a parent.

So. I want to hear all about your babies. Whether they are 3 days old or 13 years old. What are the positives you love about parenting your children. Why are they so special

    DD:

    • Wicked sense of humour. Can make a room of people roar with laughter.
    • Very in tune with people's emotions, gives great advice and listens to what people need..
    • Has a great voice. I love listening to her sing.
    • Is a wonderful big sister. They have built strong bonds and DD and DS are very close.

    DS:
    • He has the greatest imagination, he is so good at creating things, be it out of Lego, on minecraft or on paper. He's also a great story teller.
    • Very loving. If he loves you he would do anything for you. He would give the shirt off his back.
    • He takes personal growth very seriously. If we've had a chat about behaviour and changing it (or as we call it levelling up) he will come to me days later and tell me what he has achieved I the past few days.
    • He is very passionate about food. I think there will come a day where he will take over my own kitchen. He often brings home recipe books from the school library.

    YES!

    DD1:
    • Very loving, tells us multiple times a day that she loves us and gives lots of kisses and cuddles.
    • Tells you exactly how she's feeling and what she's thinking.
    • Has great self confidence, will attempt anything!
    • So creative, love all the craft she does and the little stories behind it all.
    • Very kind. Always thinking of her little sister. If I give her something she makes sure there is some for DD2 too and if there's not she will share hers.
    • I love how she dances, her expressions, you can see exactly how she's feeling on her face.
    • Makes friends with anyone.
    • I just love her enthusiasm for life, everything is an adventure!

    DD2:
    • Adventurous! Climbs anything. Has no fear! If she falls she will get right back up and try again.
    • Constantly making us laugh with her crazyness.
    • Also very loving, so many kisses and cuddles and 'I loves you's'
    • Always happy!
    • She talks very well and I just love to hear what's going on inside that little head. She already wants to know 'why?' about everything and I love teaching her and seeing her learn and investigate things.
    • All the little cute things she does like shrugging her shoulders and saying 'mmm' when you ask her a question like an adult instead of 'yes', lol.
    • I love to see the relationship between the two of them. She is so excited to see her big sister when she wakes in the morning and so sad when she can't find her.
    • She is also very caring. If you get hurt she will be there giving you kisses until you feel better.

    I love a good Liebling-boastfest!

Liebling is exceedingly affectionate, he loves cuddling and kissing. He needs to give snuggles in the night too (it is a positive, just not for me atm).
Liebling works very hard at school. In six weeks he has gone from level 1 reading books to level 3 books and is reading his level 3 books with confidence. He gets "très bien" stickers every week from his French club.
Liebling is a mathematical genius. He manages to figure out things that he can do with numbers without being taught that they even exist. He may even grow up to discover something worse than calculus.
Liebling is very playful. Most things can be turned into a game, or a fantasy. So for example, we can shop for food, but we have to decide which superhero likes each item of food we pick up and why. His wardrobe is called "the spacerocket" and he happily shuts himself in there for hours at a time (oh dear, am I dismissing a sci-fi Narnia-esque world as fantasy now?).
Liebling is very persistant and creative. He is developing his architectural skills by designing piggy castles that angry birds can't knock down.
Liebling is caring and enjoys cheering people up and making them happy. He likes to help people and build up their self-esteem.
Liebling has a high level of self-confidence and will take "negative" traits as things to be proud of, such as shyness. He is happy in his own skin.
Superficial as it sounds, Liebling is also absolutely gorgeous. He is also very flirty. He does love female attention. (I am so going to be a grandmother when I'm older, Liebling rocks.)

Ds is so wonderful. He is the happiest little boy around. He's very social, loves to take people with him on his adventures and show everyone what is making him excited. He loves animals so much, even if he is absolutely distraught he can always be cheered up with even just a picture of a puppy. He's very snuggly, which means I get some awesome cuddles :-)

    Great idea!

DD1 - has come such a long way this year, I am so so proud and amazed at her personal growth! Highly motivated and enjoys challenging herself. She loves reading and learning about anything, she can talk boy can she talk! She is fair and honest and able to admit when things do not go to plan. She loves me no matter what!

DD2 - is a cheeky monkey! She loves to get a laugh. She is a caring and sensitive soul who will share anything with anyone. She is trying desperately to catch up to DD1 but is starting to gain her own sense of independence as well. She loves me no matter what!

Dd is the most caring beautiful girl I know, she tells us WE are the best because we love her and give her hugs and kisses- she makes me feel successful in an area I believed I was failing. She is going to make the best big sister and mum one day. She loves to help out around the house and looks out for me even though its not her job (like wanting to hold my hand when I have to have a needle) and giving a hug when I'm upset. She has a sense of self pride when she does something and has a thirst for knowledge and learning.

She makes me so proud every single day and one day I look forward to thanking her for making up the family I always wanted but missed as a kid myself.
