Biscuit icing recipe
I have just made a lot of basic biscuits for DS to take to a Halloween lunch at kindy but I think they need some icing as they are a bit boring.
So what is a basic icing I can make that sets hard and doesn't make the biscuit really soft?

You want a royal icing recipe.

I don't think so. I just need an icing that will set and not be runny.
I thought it might be just icing sugar and water but I gave it a go and it made the biscuits a bit soft?
So kind of like the icing on ginger bread men and those honey jumble biscuits.

I'm pretty sure the icing on gingerbread men is royal icing Deedles. I've just done some with royal icing and they were brilliant. You can use royal icing in all sorts of consistencies - almost cutable, pipeable, spreadable etc.
