OUCH! I got a knee to the boob :(

DH and I were been goofs, and he kneed me just under my armpit into the side of my breast. It hurt SO much I cried. It still aches hours later. I don't *thnk* there is a lump, but I can't feel around enough to tell because it hurts so darn much!! Will there be any possible implications, such as mastitis or something else?

Oh lordy it hurts so much :'(

Hun I'm afraid to say there might be... Keep a close eye on the sore area, try some heat on there and some gentle massage in the shower and while baby feeds... Keep the milk flowing well from that area.

A knee or fist has been known to lead to mastitis... Hope it feels better in the morning!

Hi You'll be fine - keep that breast well drained and whack an icepack on. You'll get through it. Tell him to be more careful next time
