    Fainting

Ok, so I just wanted to know how normal it is. I'm 13 weeks and fainted for the first time yesterday. This will be my 4th baby so low blood pressure and anaemia are no stranger for me. I've always had problems when standing but nothing like this, I actually blacked out for a few seconds and fell. It's really scared me and I don't want to be alone

I'm not sure. Be sure to drink lots of water and try to rest. Maybe get your blood pressure checked out at your next check up?
    Take care

Sounds like low BP. If you can, see your doctor this ASAP (not emergency though, unless you keep blacking out)
Also if you have some compression stockings/socks wearing these can help with low BP.
(I had to be on medication in my last pregnancy that caused my BP to drop and I was dizzy and blacking out)

I havent blacked out since, but im having trouble making myself get up slowly. That's how it happened, I got up, went to hug DH and then blacked out. I remember my vision going blurry (as it's done heaps before) but it went past that and I woke up on the floor as he dropped me, lol.

I got my BP checked 3 times later that day and it was normal. My BP gets down to about 90/45 when pregnant, what was yours Chrispe? I am also anaemic which doesn't help my cause. I've been told postural hypotension but it still doesn't sit right with me.

Wow that is low! Mine was about 105/60 (ish) but that's low for me (normally 120/75)

I was in hospital at the time and nurse also told me that low blood sugar can make it worse.
    Yeah being anaemic wouldn't help...

I have had to happen for as long as I can remember. I know when my vision get blurry and I feel like vomiting that it in most cases isn't going to end well. Happens most often when I'm sick but happened a fair bit when I was pregnant. I found myself making sure I have jelly beans in my bag and trying to get my bp back up - sometime a cup of coffee or glass of coke will be enough.
Def get your bp and sugars checked, these can change so much when pg.

Even when I was in hossy last week my bp was 105/65. But would then be backup again.
