She smells things around me...

I have a close friend who often says she can smell sage and/or a sweet scent when I am near her. She says it's not me (as in my scent/perfume/soap/deodorant), but around me. It happens often when she is at my house, and a few times when we have been out and about together.
What would it be? Is it my guides, or guardians?

I'm interested in this. Often get smells that make no sense to the place.
I had a conversation years ago with a friend and we could smell something very strongly. A friend come in to get something from the room and commented in the fragrance.

not really much... but i smell stuff. ive never seen anyone/thing (except in dreams) but have smelt heaps of people. some i know like my grandfather, others i dont...
so she could very well be smelling someone. does she get anything else? like a feeling or emotion near you? i sometimes get an emotion with the smelll which helps me identify if it is good or bad
