Ok, so the potpourri I'm making as Christmas presents includes slices or wedges of citrus fruit, (along with spices) and then you're supposed to fill the remainder of the jar with water to keep it until you're ready to use it.
I think it would be neater and easier if I could dry the fruits first, but have no idea how to go about it. I don't have a dehydrator and would like to keep the oils in tact as much as possible. Does anyone have any ideas?
