Stroller with a lascal mini buggyboard

    Hello all,

I'm looking for a new pram / stroller with a skateboard. I was thinking the Baby Jogger City Mini with the glider board, but the reviews are pretty terrible. I went and had a look in a shop yesterday and I can't see that DS1 would agree to stick his head in the tiny gap and he would be hanging off it the other way.

I'm wondering whether an umbrella stroller with a lascal buggy board is a better option. I'm not that tall (165 cm) so doubt i'd be kicking the back of the board.

Do people find this ok to use? Is the board a pain to get on and off when folding up the stroller?

    Cheers,
    Fiona

I have a Mclaren Vogue and got the buggy board when DS was born - we used a bit but not that much, it isn't a pain to get on and off but is a pain to carry around I found - and DD never that fussed about it she prefers to walk (or dawdle). I am about 170cm and I found it a bit in the way too, not so much when she was on it but when she wasn't and she would get on and off it often. I often ended up with just the shopping on it :-). I probably haven't used it for about 8 months now - (I got second hand so not too fussed) - depends how long you think your DS1 will want to ride for. Any sort of steps/curbs are a bit of a pain with it too. However other people seem to use them fine - I got mine after speaking to a lady in IKEA with same stroller and her son loved being on it.

Ooooo, now I'm interested! Does your toddler put his head up in the gap between the pram and the bar or on the other side. Do you kick it at all?

This is the thread I started about it here

My DS stands behind the pram handle and holds on. I don't kick it because it's positioned to the side of the stroller so I walk bedside it. My DS even sits down on it and stretches this legs out into the bottom of the stroller if he doesn't want to stand.
