Blender Recommendations

The blender died and we need a new one. No idea what to get but I'm sure you lovely ladies know

I have a KA blender. Love it! (Loved it, I need to replace the cannister DD2 smashed ) But it is a great blender, aside from the child destruction, it has needed the spinning thingo in the bottom replaced once ($7) but I don't think they make the new models the same way.
Mine is 5years old and in perfect health, motorwise. It is the only KA appliance that has lasted the distance! LOL

Don't get a Kenwood.

Vitamix is an awesome blender.

I can't go past the Blendtec Will It Blend? ads. But have never actually seen the blender in action.
