Measuring ahead of dates - is that a bad thing?

I have my second scan today and I'm officially 8+3 but my scan measured bubs at 8+6 and then 9 weeks. My OB kinda made a comment about "see how the NT scan goes" and now I'm worried that this is a bad thing or could mean something bad. My scan 2 weeks ago bub was measuring only 1 day ahead of what I was. I know my dates are accurate as I know when I OV'd and know my LMP dates.

    Any explanations or similar stories..

    congrats on your pregnancy!
It's only a few days, I wouldn't worry about it at all.
I measured 3 and 6 days behind on my early scans, and that was after IVF so the dates were definitely right. And they were both fine.

My baby measured 1 day ahead at 8 weeks and 2 days ahead today at 10w+2. My bubs is an ivf too so I know the exact date. My tech said today they can be out 5 days either way. Its just a mouse click I guess. I am happier to be ahead than behind. Congrats on your pg.

I measured one week ahead at our NT scan from memory (and it may even have been at a nine week scan I had as well) with my current pregnancy. We conceived using Clomid which triggered my ovulation and I am sure my dates weren't a week out (it's pretty easy to tell when you are ovulating on Clomid). Doctor let me take my pick for my estimated due date (what a scientific way to do things!!!!). I am sure the baby couldn't care less which date I picked.

Yep dd measured fine at 6 weeks, a few days ahead at 12 weeks, a week ahead at 20 weeks and almost 2 weeks ahead by 30 weeks. She was just a good grower

Both girls measured ahead here to. We are taking mm with these measurements so 1mm out can mean a day. For me my dd's were a day ahead in there individual measurements (leg arm body) but there heads always were a week ahead throwing out my date
